Senior C++ Firmware Engineer in EUROPEAN ECONOMIC AREA

This role requires Relocation to Abu Dhabi (amazing Tax Free Package + great relocation support)

Range depending on experience from 100,000 Euro's to 120,000 Euro's based on experience and relevant knowledge.

Seeking experienced C++ Firmware Engineer with a minimum 7 years of experience for a growing busy Telecoms, Electronics, RF and Defence Technology R&D group.

Onsite role in Abu Dhabi. Generous relocation for self + family.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement C++ applications for embedded systems.
• Provide a software abstraction layer to seamlessly support a variety of hardware configurations.
• Optimize code for performance
• Integrate software with hardware components, ensuring seamless communication and functionality.
• Write unit tests and conduct testing to ensure the reliability of the embedded software
• Identify opportunities for performance optimization, memory footprint reduction, and power efficiency improvements in the firmware.
• Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance software development efficiency and quality.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Electronic Engineering or Computer Science or similar. Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science or similar fields.
• Over 7 years of proven experience in Embedded/Firmware programming
• In-depth knowledge of C++ programming language and proficiency in modern C++ standards.
• Extensive experience in software architecture design.
• Demonstrated experience in architecting complex software systems and delivering scalable, maintainable, and reliable solutions
• Extensive experience with Linux.
