Mid or Senior Mobile UI/UX Artist in SPAIN

We're working with a leading mobile game art and production studio as they recruit for a Mobile UI/UX Artist at either a mid or senior level. The studio co-dev with the mobile industry’s leading developers and contribute to their hugely popular mobile IP’s.

As a Mid or Senior Mobile UI/UX Artist you will be instrumental in crafting the overall user interface of the games the studio works on. You’ll draw on your understanding of game interface design, your eye for stylized art, and your grasp of player psychology and user-centred design principles to balance aesthetics and functionality to enhance the player experience. You can expect to work closely with colleagues in Game Design, Art and other dev teams to create a seamless and enjoyable gaming experience.

Your responsibilities…

• Designing visually appealing interfaces, including buttons, menus, icons, and screens that match the game’s aesthetic.
• Create original artwork, illustrations, icons, and visual elements that represent the brand or product.
• Contribute to the overall visual style of the game, ensuring it is cohesive with the games branding and theme.
• Design and implement UI assets that match the game's aesthetic and ensure consistency throughout the game.
• Work closely with Designers, Artists and other devs to ensure smooth integration of UI/UX elements with gameplay and technical aspects.
• Maintain a strong sense of design consistency to align the UI/UX with the game’s overall visual identity and brand.
• May also work on motion graphics and creating detailed artwork for UI elements.

The skills and experience you’ll bring to the role…

• Strong proficiency in Illustrator, with skills in Photoshop, Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD also highly beneficial.
• Ability to create and implement UI designs that complement stylized art styles.
• Experience designing UI for various platforms with a focus on mobile games. With PC, console experience an added bonus.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders.
• A keen eye for visual consistency, colour theory, layout.
• Creative mind to develop unique and appealing game-related icons
• Imaginative thinking to elevate designs.
• Enjoy identifying and solving design problems creatively, while keeping focus on the user experience.
