About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Subject Matter Expert in IT Workplace & End User Computing (EUC) solutions. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing EUC solutions to enhance productivity and user experience. It requires a deep understanding of EUC technologies, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.


Main Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Design and implement EUC solutions, including desktop virtualization, application delivery, and mobile device management.
  • Lead the implementation and management of EUC technologies, ensuring they meet business requirements and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with IT teams, business units, and external vendors to develop EUC strategies.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on EUC projects, including planning, design, implementation, and support.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations of current EUC environments, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions.
  • Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in EUC and recommend innovative solutions to enhance the user experience.
  • Provide training and support to IT staff and end-users on EUC technologies and best practices.
  • Act as the point of contact for day-to-day operations within your domain of responsibility, acting as L3 expert for advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and driving the resolution of complex incidents and problems.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and operational procedures.
  • Manage the relationship with key suppliers & solutions providers in the EUC domain, including hardware OEMs & partners like HP, Lenovo, and Dell.


Leadership & Team Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing EUC team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Define clear roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations for team members, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Act as a point of escalation for complex issues, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining high levels of user satisfaction.


EUC Strategy & Operations:

  • Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for End User Computing, ensuring alignment with business needs and IT priorities.
  • Oversee the delivery of EUC services, including device management, local OS support, desktop applications/virtualization/deployment, and Microsoft 365 tools.
  • Drive the adoption of best practices, tools, and technologies to enhance the end-user experience and improve operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics (KPIs) to identify trends, address gaps, and ensure service excellence.


Skills And Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in end-user computing, with a focus on solution architecture and design, with hands-on experience in operations.
  • Strong knowledge of end-user computing technologies, including desktop virtualization, application delivery, and mobile device management.
  • Hands-on experience with designing, deploying, and maintaining end-user computing solutions based on SCCM/Intune in complex, decentralized multi-forest environments.
  • Solid experience with Microsoft technologies, including Windows operating systems and Office 365.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and analytically.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or Citrix Certified Professional – Virtualization, are a plus.


Additional Qualifications:

  • Solid knowledge of IT service management (e.g., ITIL processes).
  • Ability to lead service design and understand the related IT ecosystem.
  • Good understanding of common components of IT infrastructure.
  • Good understanding of IT Security principles.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to identify improvements and drive decisions.
  • Team working skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative environment.
  • Well-organized, efficient, and self-motivated.

LOCATION

This role is 100% remote and open to applicants with EU/UK citizenship or candidates with a valid work/residence permit who have permanent residence in the UK, Sweden, Germany, Italy, France, Spain, or Portugal. No EU/UK visa sponsorship is offered. If you are based in Sweden, you can work from Recipharm HQ, Stockholm.
