Role Description


We are seeking a skilled Information Technology Support Specialist to join our team remotely. The Specialist will play a crucial role in providing technical assistance, troubleshooting IT issues, and ensuring seamless technology operations for our clients. This role is ideal for an individual with strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a passion for IT support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, and remote access tools.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of desktop computers, laptops, and peripheral devices.
  • Monitor and manage help desk tickets, ensuring timely resolution and proper documentation.
  • Install, update, and troubleshoot operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and software applications.
  • Provide support for VPN, remote desktop, and cloud-based tools to facilitate remote work.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to escalate and resolve complex IT issues.
  • Conduct basic cybersecurity awareness training and enforce IT security policies.
  • Maintain inventory of IT assets and track system performance metrics.
  • Stay updated with emerging IT trends and technologies to enhance IT support services.


Qualifications & Skills


  • Technical Support & Troubleshooting experience in a professional IT environment.
  • Strong knowledge of desktop computers, operating systems, and IT infrastructure.
  • Experience in Help Desk Support, including ticketing systems and remote troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, etc.).
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL, or Microsoft certifications are a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote work environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
