Senior Electronic Engineer

Location: Dorset / Surry (Hybrid)

Salary: £50k - £65k

Security Clearance (Sole British Nationals)


One of our favourite clients is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to join their vibrant team of specialists engineers. Their focus is on delivering top-notch products and systems to the Defence Industry, where innovation merges seamlessly with excellence. As a proficient Senior Electronics Engineer, you'll lead the charge in translating system requirements into groundbreaking design solutions. Key Skills and Responsibilities

  • Proficiency in designing, developing, and evaluating digital and analog circuits from initial concept to final product.
  • Engaging in design tasks at both equipment and system levels.
  • Ensuring adherence to technical specifications throughout the design, integration, and customer acceptance phases.
  • Demonstrated experience in all facets of electronics product design, including compliance with regulations such as UKCA/CE, EMC, RoHS, and safety standards.
  • Effective multitasking and prioritization abilities with a hands-on approach.
  • Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to devise solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Eligibility to obtain UK Security Clearance.
  • Previous exposure to working with MoD clients and familiarity with equipment test standards is advantageous.
  • Experience in designing safety-critical or mission-critical systems is desirable.
  • Familiarity with designing, developing, and assessing firmware sub-systems from inception to completion is a plus.
  • Knowledge of safety-critical electronics is desirable
