Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior WooCommerce WordPress & Web View App Developer with expertise in custom PHP development and mobile app integration. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with WooCommerce, custom WordPress development (without excessive reliance on plugins), performance optimization, and web view app development for the App Store and Play Store. This is a remote position, offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere while collaborating with our global team.
Key Responsibilities:WooCommerce & WordPress Development:
Develop and maintain custom WordPress & WooCommerce solutions.
Write high-quality, scalable PHP code for custom features and integrations.
Customize WooCommerce templates, hooks, and API integrations.
Optimize website performance, security, and SEO.
Implement custom themes and child themes (GeneratePress experience is a plus).
Work with REST API & third-party integrations.
Troubleshoot and debug WooCommerce & WordPress issues.
Ensure website responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility.
Web View App Development & Optimization:
Develop, maintain, and optimize web view applications, ensuring seamless integration of web content within mobile apps.
Deliver high-quality user experiences through efficient coding practices and responsive design.
Manage the end-to-end submission process for both the App Store and Play Store.
Stay updated with the latest app store guidelines and ensure all apps remain compliant.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues during the submission and approval process.
Frontend Development & Quality Assurance:
Utilize HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to build interactive, user-friendly interfaces.
Collaborate with design and backend teams to integrate and enhance frontend components.
Conduct rigorous testing to ensure optimal performance and a bug-free user experience.
Optimize code performance and troubleshoot cross-browser compatibility issues.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in WordPress & WooCommerce development.
2+ years of experience in developing and submitting web view apps on both the App Store and Play Store.
Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3.
Experience with custom theme & plugin development.
Deep understanding of WooCommerce hooks, actions, and filters.
Experience with REST API development & third-party integrations.
Strong knowledge of performance optimization & security best practices.
Experience working with Git version control.
Familiarity with GeneratePress theme is a plus.
Solid understanding of mobile app development principles and app store submission guidelines.
Demonstrated ability in troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Headless WordPress or JAMstack.
Knowledge of React.js or Vue.js for interactive WooCommerce features.
Familiarity with server-side caching and CDNs.
Understanding of Google reCAPTCHA integration without plugins.
Experience in integrating WordPress content with mobile applications.
Knowledge of modern frontend frameworks or libraries (React, Angular, Vue.js).
Experience with API integrations and cross-platform mobile development tools.
