Role overview 

The Cybersecurity Director is a senior level role, reporting to CRO, responsible for overseeing an organization’s overall cybersecurity. The role supervises aspects of IT security including design, development, implementation, incident response, budgets, and adherence to various regulations. The Cybersecurity Director contributes to overall cybersecurity strategy by identifying growth opportunities based on the latest threats, as well as managing security personnel and reporting on the company’s cybersecurity posture. 

Responsibilities 

• Creation and execution of security strategies that will increase the efficiency of IT systems and projects at your organization. 
• Directing crisis management by investigating the cause of a breach and implementing the right solutions. 
• Allocating the correct resources to ensure that staff are delivering secure solutions. 
• Managing cybersecurity teams within the organization. 
• Overseeing vulnerability audits, penetration tests and forensic IT investigations, ensuring that any outcomes are understood and applied. 
• Liaising with other senior level directors and the board to ensure that new systems align with the organization’s overall security policies and data protection strategies. 
• Ensuring that staff security training and compliance efforts are up to date. 
• Preparing budgetary allocations and financial forecasts relating to cybersecurity. 
• Managing partners, stakeholders, vendors and third-party solutions providers. 
• Enforce the implementation of Cybersecurity requirements for Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery. 
• Ensure that required cybersecurity is included throughout the lifecycle of Business Continuity Management Systems. 

Qualifications 

• +8/10 years’ experience in Cybersecurity area.  
• Proven dynamic leader of a high growth fintech organizations. 
• Experience in KSA DPL, SAMA Cybersecurity Framework is an advantage. 
• First-Hand experience in using and implementing SIEM, PAM, VA, PT, and other related tools.  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English  
• The firm root cause analysis skills: you find the problem and the solution.  
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with both technical and business staff.
