Your Role

We’re looking for a Python Expert with 4–5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting and developing backend services, primarily using Python and Flask, while also collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with frontend systems. You’ll have the opportunity to tackle complex challenges, optimize our data operations, and contribute significantly to projects that have a real impact on our clients’ businesses.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and Develop Backend Services
• Design, build, and maintain scalable APIs and microservices using Python and Flask.
• Ensure code quality and efficiency through best practices and coding standards.
• Data Migration and Integration
• Lead and execute data migration strategies, ensuring secure and seamless transitions.
• Integrate with external APIs and internal systems to enhance product functionality.
• Collaborate with Frontend Teams
• Work closely with frontend developers (React is a plus, though not required) to create end-to-end solutions.
• Coordinate project timelines and align technical objectives with business goals.
• Optimize Performance
• Continuously implement improvements to optimize efficiency and reliability.

Required Technical Skills

• 4–5 years of Experience in Python
• Proficient in writing clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
• Strong Expertise with Flask
• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• API Integration
• Familiarity with third-party APIs, authentication methods, and best practices in integration.

Desirable (Not Required)

• React
• Understanding of React components, state management, and overall frontend patterns.
• Cloud Services
• Experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms, including deploying and managing Python applications.

Work Arrangement

• Fully Remote: Work from anywhere with a stable internet connection.
• Flexible Hours: You can set your schedule as long as you align for at least 6 hours a day with the main team (Costa Rica, GMT-6).
