Job Description: Looking for a Junior UI/UX Designer to work on a 3-6 month contract. In this role, you will be responsible for designing a clean, intuitive, and scalable interface that makes financial data accessible to all users. Your work will play a crucial role in shaping our brand identity and ensuring a frictionless user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Design visually compelling, user-friendly interfaces for a financial wellness platform.
Collaborate closely with the CEO, CTO, and content teams to ensure a seamless user experience.
Translate complex financial data into digestible and engaging visual elements.
Iterate on existing designs to refine the overall aesthetic and usability based on user feedback.
Work with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
Required Skills & Experience:
Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX work, particularly in web and mobile applications.
Proficiency in Figma (we are open to other design tools like Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision, etc.).
Experience designing for web and mobile applications, with a deep understanding of responsive design.
Ability to simplify complex data into intuitive, engaging UI components.
Knowledge of UX research practices and ability to incorporate user feedback into design iterations.
Understanding of Agile UX methodologies is a plus.
Nice-to-Have:
Experience working in FinTech, HRTech, or open banking applications.
Familiarity with Flutter-based front-end development (not required, but helpful).
Knowledge of design systems and component libraries.
This is a start up client that is an early-stage fintech company developing an AI-driven financial wellness platform to help employees manage their benefits and finances using real-time data from open banking and HRIS systems. They are currently at the Mini MVP phase, utilizing mock data for user testing while ensuring a strong focus on data privacy and security. This is an opportunity to join a greenfield project dealing with emerging fintech capabilities.
