We are now seeking an exceptional Quantitative Trader to join our trading team in Dubai. In this role, you'll design and implement sophisticated algorithmic trading strategies, focusing on alternative data integration and sentiment analysis in commodities markets.

Responsibilities:
- Design and implement sophisticated algorithmic trading strategies in commodities markets (Frequency: Seconds to Days), focusing on alternative data integration and sentiment analysis.
- Build and optimize scalable trading systems with robust risk management protocols.
- Develop advanced signal processing for real-time market analysis and regime detection.
- Create robust backtesting frameworks that account for market impact and transaction costs.
- Implement real-time market data processing and analysis systems, ensuring optimal data flow and execution performance across our trading infrastructure.
- Design and implement systematic risk management protocols to maintain robust trading operations and portfolio stability.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, focusing on key metrics, including latency and strategy performance.
- Create comprehensive documentation for trading systems and strategies.
Required Skills (MUST HAVES):
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in algorithmic trading across liquid markets.
- Proven experience in Python/R and C#/Java.
- Proven experience with alternative data integration and sentiment-based trading strategies.
- Proven experience with algorithmic trading platforms/backtesting engines.
- Strong background in statistical analysis and time series modeling.
- Expertise in market microstructure and execution optimization.
- Strong risk management skills.
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and market data formats.
- Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Beneficial Skills (NICE TO HAVES):
- Experience with QuantConnect platform.
- Background in market making.
- Expertise in regime detection, including volatility modeling and cross-asset regime analysis.
- Previous experience working with AI-driven trading systems and developing innovative trading strategies.
