Solution Architect - Digital Telco Marketplace in IRELAND

Stelfox is looking for a Solutions Architect to join one of our SaaS/Software clients who are operating in the Telco BSS & Digital Platform space, providing end-to-end solutions for global enterprise clients that benefits from their digital & product services.

As a Solutions Architect, you will help bridge between business stakeholders and IT to ensure that software solutions work in a consistent way, by:

• Creating solutions that leverage modern cloud technologies like AWS, GCP or Azure, both from a functional and non-functional.
• Collaborate closely with enterprise clients during scoping workshops to dissect their business processes, map out detailed solutions, and provide guidance to the engineering team during the execution phase.
• Develop and refine solution blueprints, including context diagrams, process definitions, non-functional requirements and an in-depth depiction of how the client's business is intricately woven into our platform.
• Validate project estimations and proposed solutions to ensure optimal outcomes for clients.
• Maintain a comprehensive grasp of digital platform architecture and interfaces, acting as the client's advocate within the product ecosystem.
• Define and continuously enhance reference architectures and blueprints, encompassing domains like migration strategies, integration into ticketing systems, Single Sign-On, Partner integrations and more.

Preferred experience:

• 7-10 years of experience in software and/or solution architecture, specifically in large Telco's, tech product or consulting companies.
• Proficient in designing modern microservice and cloud-based applications, with a track record of successful implementations.
• Understanding of the telecoms industry, ISV industry and experience with digital ecosystems / marketplace platform development.
• "Client first" approach: i.e. able to align client commercial needs/sensitives with solution outcomes.
• Strong presentation skills that cover both the technical and business aspects of a solution
• Able to deploy different communication styles based on the audience e.g. Developers versus C-Level executives
• You bring along cultural Awareness and global outlook.
