Android Developer (Reverse Engineering)

Location: Barcelona, Spain (Hybrid Work Arrangement)

About the Role - Our client are seeking experienced Android Security Engineers to analyze and reverse-engineer malicious Android applications. You will identify mobile threats, classify them, and contribute to enhancing their security capabilities.

Responsibilities -

• Analyze Android apps (APKs) and binaries.
• Reverse-engineer malicious binaries.
• Identify and classify mobile threats.

Conduct static and dynamic analysis of malicious APKs.

Required Skills and Experience -

• Fluent in English
• 4-8 years of experience in Android security with Java programming skills.
• Experience in app development, malware analysis, and reverse engineering tools like IDA Pro or OllyDbg.
• Strong problem-solving skills with excellent communication abilities.
• Strong exposure to popular application security standards including OWASP TOP 10, OWASP Enterprise Security API (ESAPI) framework, SANS TOP 25, WASC
• 3 years of relevant work experience including experience Reverse Engineering and code-level security auditing, as well as experience handling obfuscated code.

Pay range and compensation package - €30.000 - €50.000 per year (Dependant on experience)

Relocation Packages available within the EU.
