Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Blockchain Engineer with expertise in both backend systems and smart contract development to join our growing team. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining core protocol functionalities and backend services. This is a high-impact position that will allow you to work across the full blockchain stack and contribute to the next generation of DeFi products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and deploy smart contracts on Ethereum and other compatible chains for the Yei Finance protocol.
• Build and maintain backend systems to support protocol functionalities, user interfaces, and integrations with external systems.
• Research and apply innovative smart contract paradigms and decentralized architecture principles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and engineers to deliver robust and scalable products.
• Write high-quality, well-tested code and review contributions from other team members.
• Develop peripheral mechanisms such as price oracles, governance systems, and data pipelines.
• Ensure the security and reliability of all on-chain and off-chain components.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with a focus on blockchain technologies and backend systems.
• 3+ years of experience designing, implementing, and deploying production-grade Solidity contracts.
• Deep understanding of the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) and blockchain architectures.
• Strong proficiency in backend development with languages such as Golang and TypeScript.
• Proven track record of building and maintaining production systems at scale.
• Experience deploying complex smart contract systems to the Ethereum mainnet or other blockchains.
• Desire to stay updated with modern best practices in software development and DeFi trends.
