We are seeking a
AI & Data Engineer to join our Technology team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Your work will directly impact how we protect tens of millions of people from the ever-evolving scam landscape. As part of this mission, we are constantly investing in research, AI capabilities, and data-driven innovation to stay ahead of emerging threats. With improved focus and accountability, we allocate resources effectively to drive growth and deliver value to both partners and end customers.
In this role, you’ll help build and maintain data pipelines, AI-powered portals, and scalable systems to deliver real-time insights that keep our solutions cutting-edge and future-proof. You will also play a pivotal role in developing a new AI-infused partner portal, setting the foundation for a full AI agent that will transform how our partners access critical security data and services.

Key Responsibilities
- Help design, develop, and deploy data systems that are scalable, efficient, and robust.
- Build and optimize data enrichment pipelines to process millions of events daily, supporting AI-powered insights.
- Develop and maintain a new AI-infused partner portal with the goal of integrating a full AI agent for user interactions.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and product managers to translate business needs into actionable data solutions.
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines for data deployments and automate production monitoring to ensure system reliability.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and contribute to integrating new AI development and tooling into our systems.
What We Are Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in data or cloud engineering with a focus on building and managing cloud-based systems.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code, relational databases (SQL/NoSQL), and data management.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., S3, Kinesis, Glue, Redshift, Athena) and strong programming skills in Python or NodeJS.
- Proven ability to design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions, ensuring system performance and reliability.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including analysts, developers, and data scientists.
- You enjoy working in an international work environment and can communicate proficiently in English (both written and spoken).
Our tech stack
We work with a cloud-native stack, leveraging AWS services like
S3, Kinesis, DynamoDB, Glue, Redshift, and Athena, and use tools like
Terraform, CloudFormation, Docker, Jenkins, and more. In this role, you’ll have the chance to work with
security, subscription, and application telemetry data while exploring new opportunities to incorporate
AI capabilities.

This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. We are open to receiving applications from candidates outside Malaysia and are happy to sponsor relocation for the right candidate. However, fully remote work is not an option for this position.
