About the Role:
We seek an experienced Python Developer to join our team on a contract basis for a 3-month project with the potential for long-term collaboration. This role requires a strong background in backend development, particularly in API integrations, cloud services, and data processing. You will work on an existing legal marketing analytics and call tracking application, adding new features, optimizing performance, and ensuring scalability.

This role is more than just writing scripts—you must deeply understand coding logic and love to write clean, maintainable code. To streamline marketing analytics, you’ll work on data-matching algorithms, API integrations, automation, and cloud-based workflows.
Key Responsibilities:- Enhance and maintain an existing Python-based application—not from scratch; you must understand and improve the existing codebase.
- Work with APIs (e.g., Call Tracking Metrics, CRMs) to retrieve, process, and analyze data.
- Develop and optimize data-matching algorithms for processing large datasets from Excel, CSV, JSON, and APIs.
- Automate data workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Utilize Amazon Web Services (AWS) for cloud-based data processing and storage.
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues to ensure reliability and scalability.
- Write clear and well-documented code that supports long-term maintainability.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand project requirements and deliver solutions on time.
Requirements (Do Not Apply If You Do Not Meet These):- Must have experience working with APIs and Amazon Cloud Services (AWS).
- During the interview, you must be able to walk through an example of your Python code, including explaining what you built and the logic behind it.
- Proven experience as a Python Developer in a contract, freelance, or project-based role.
- Strong knowledge of Python and its core libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Requests, Flask/FastAPI).
- Experience handling and processing large datasets (Excel, CSV, JSON, SQL databases).
- Deep understanding of coding logic and best practices. You should love writing code and be excited about solving complex problems.
- Familiarity with authentication methods for API integrations (OAuth, API keys).
- Experience with Call Tracking Metrics API or other marketing analytics tools is a big plus.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:- Understanding of SEO and digital marketing data.
- Familiarity with database management (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite).
- Prior experience leading or mentoring developers—the potential opportunity to build a team under this role if successful.
