Role Description
We are looking for a talented and experienced
WordPress Developer to join our team. This is a remote, full-time position where you will work with a diverse range of clients to create high-performing, responsive, and visually appealing WordPress websites.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in WordPress development, including custom theme and plugin development, and a deep understanding of website optimization and user experience. You will collaborate closely with our design, content, and marketing teams to bring client visions to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, ensuring they are fully functional, responsive, and optimized for performance and SEO.
- Create custom themes and plugins to meet client-specific requirements.
- Collaborate with designers to translate Figma or other design mockups into pixel-perfect WordPress websites.
- Optimize websites for speed, performance, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to website functionality or performance.
- Integrate third-party tools, APIs, and plugins to enhance website features.
- Stay up to date with the latest WordPress trends, tools, and best practices.
Key Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in WordPress development with a strong portfolio of custom-built websites.
- Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Experience with custom theme and plugin development.
- Strong understanding of responsive design, website optimization, and SEO best practices.
- Familiarity with tools like WP Bakery, Elementor, or other page builders.
- Experience with version control systems like Git is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.
