KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Process Standardization and System Streamlining:
- Standardize business processes across departments, integrating solutions where possible to ensure operational consistency and efficiency.
- Manage the simplification and optimization of business systems, focusing on the elimination of inefficiencies and aligning technology solutions with the organization’s evolving needs.
System Integration and Optimization:
- Analyze current systems, tools, and processes to identify redundancies and areas for improvement, ensuring efficient and standardized practices across the organization.
- Oversee the integration of the company’s ERP, CRM, and other business-critical systems, ensuring alignment with business requirements and scalability.
- Drive the implementation of key systems like NetSuite and other relevant platforms, ensuring they meet business needs and support operational growth.
- Collaborate with business leaders to understand their requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration:
- Work closely with divisional directors, senior leadership, and key stakeholders to drive alignment on IT systems strategy and business processes.
- Cultivate strong relationships with internal teams to understand their unique needs, providing guidance on system improvements and process optimization.
- Act as the key point of contact for senior leadership and divisional directors, providing updates on progress, challenges, and recommendations for optimization.
Leadership and Strategy:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive IT systems strategy that supports organizational goals and growth objectives.
- Lead the integration of various business applications and tools, optimizing the use of existing systems and ensuring seamless connectivity across the organization.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and manage a team of business analysts and potentially systems/database administrators, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and high performance.
- Assess team needs and develop business cases to secure resources or make improvements, ensuring the team has the tools and support to succeed.
Security and Compliance Awareness:
- Ensure that the deployed systems meet security standards, aligning with organizational security protocols and best practices.
- Collaborate with the Head of IT Security to ensure the integration of security features into new systems and ongoing risk management.
- Promote awareness of security best practices and work with teams to ensure systems remain secure and compliant.
Financial Management and Resource Allocation:
- Provide recommendations on system investments, technology acquisitions, and resource allocation to maximize ROI.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to assess cost-saving opportunities and ensure efficient use of technology investments.
- Monitor the financial performance of IT initiatives and identify opportunities for operational savings.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
Experience and Background:
- Proven experience in managing complex IT systems and infrastructure, with a focus on business system integration and process optimization.
- Strong background in ERP systems, CRM solutions, and system optimization, with specific experience in platforms like NetSuite being highly desirable.
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Technical Expertise:
- A solid understanding of IT development cycles, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies, and their application in system integration and optimization.
- Experience with system integration, particularly in integrating legacy systems with new platforms like NetSuite.
- Security awareness and understanding of the latest best practices in IT system security.
