Data Scientist in SERBIA

We are looking for:

A skilled Data Scientist / Analyst to support our research and development of the world’s smallest electrochemical gas sensors. This role focuses on the application of data-driven approaches to analyze, model, and optimize sensor performance. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers to advance sensor technology for applications in logistics, healthcare, energy, and industrial safety.

Key responsibilities:

• Analyze large datasets generated from electrochemical experiments, sensor testing, and customer data to derive meaningful insights.
• Develop predictive models and algorithms to optimize and get useful insights into sensor performance.
• Apply statistical methods to identify trends, correlations, and anomalies in experimental data.
• Design and implement machine learning/neural network models to predict sensor responses and degradation under varying conditions.
• Work closely with the experimental team to plan and ensure the generation of high-quality data for analysis.

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. (or equivalent) in mathematics, statistics, data science, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of statistical methods, regression analysis, and machine learning/neural network techniques.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or MATLAB for data analysis, modeling, and visualization.
• Hands-on experience and strong understanding of machine learning techniques and frameworks (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Familiarity with databases (SQL) for data storage, retrieval, and preprocessing.
• Experience with electrochemical data, including cyclic voltammetry and chronoamperometry, is a plus.
