This is an E-Learning platform that operates across Apac & EU. This product has a large and fastly growing user base which is mostly B2B. With this growth they are experiencing, they are looking for a new Mid- Senior engineer to join their well rounded team.
With three core products you will have influence and exposure across the suite. This is a team who have simplicity and innovation at their core, while also making a positive impact to further educate internal staff.
The Job
You will join a team of 5 engineers in a flat structure and closely communicate with the CTO. You will be responsible for taking ownership over the development and functionality, from concept to release and work collaboratively with other stakeholders within the business.
They are looking for Ruby on Rails engineer who is interested in getting exposure to new technologies (Node, Go) and implementing best practices and patterns in place. It requires an engineer with a product mindset and an ability to drive whole features from concept to implementation and delivery.
Desired Skills and Experience:
4+ years Ruby on Rails experience – built scalable apps
Strong commercial TypeScript experience – Vue & GraphQL
Experience building frontend and backend web products in Rails, Vue, Node
Solid understanding of how to write testable, maintainable code and automate your test where possible.
Proven record working to complex API’s
Can deal well with non technical stakeholders
Team player who can take on additional responsibilities
Bonus points if you have experience in:
Experience moving platform into microservices architecture
Worked in Lean and MVP product practices
DevOps
Experience with B2B product development
