We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Production Security Engineer willing to relocate and join our client’s team in Brussels, Belgium.


As a Junior Production Security Engineer, you will join the Production Security (ProdSec) team and be responsible for securing production-side IT systems, managing vulnerabilities, and supporting foundational security solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with at least 1 year of experience to develop hands-on expertise in key areas of IT security, working with cutting-edge tools and technologies.


Mission Context:

This role is aligned with strengthening the production environment by actively managing vulnerabilities, patches, and permissions while supporting the implementation of tools and services such as Antivirus management, Active Directory, and Identity and Access Management (IAM).


Key Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for a range of key security-related tasks, including:

Antivirus and Malware Management:

  • Update and management of AV agents across systems.
  • Maintain the functionality of the Antivirus server and ensure systems remain secure from malware threats.

Patching and Vulnerability Remediation:

  • Analyze emergency patches, identify impacted assets, and deploy patches across Windows systems.
  • Perform vulnerability analysis and implement remediations for Windows servers.

Active Directory Tasks:

  • Process and execute service requests within Active Directory.
  • Maintain and document AD group structures to ensure a well-organized environment.

Identity and Access Management (IAM):

  • Perform an inventory of application permissions to ensure access security.

CyberArk Privileged Access Management:

  • Support onboarding of IT teams to the CyberArk platform.
  • Provide user support for configured services.


Mandatory Requirements:

  • Technical Skills:
  • Experience with Windows Server systems (vulnerability and patch management).
  • Hands-on expertise with Active Directory (managing groups, service requests).
  • Professional Experience:
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience working in IT security or systems administration roles.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Knowledge of Antivirus management tools and their configuration.
  • Familiarity with IAM concepts, permissions management, and cybersecurity principles.
  • Basic understanding of CyberArk or other Privileged Access Management (PAM) tools.
  • Knowledge of patch management procedures and the ability to analyze security patches.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
