Job Summary

As a Content Writer, you'll have the opportunity to shape narratives, convey ideas, and contribute to our digital presence. If you're passionate about the power of words and ready to make an impact, we invite you to be a storyteller on our journey.

Job Responsibilities

  • Write content for blogs, articles, website pages, social media posts, email newsletters, ads, brochures, white papers, case studies, etc.
  • Upload written content & manage publishing schedules.
  • Gather information about trends & industry-related topics in articles, interviews, and videos.
  • Moderate conversations in social media groups according to set etiquette.
  • Develop a scheduling sequence to publish content on all platforms & propose promotional activities.
  • Coordinate with designers for illustrations & the marketing team to develop content.
  • Collaborate on generating ideas for new content or updating existing ones.
  • Create email sequences & send personalized pitches.
  • Conduct general administration.
  • Develop a content strategy to improve ranking scores & analyze promotion activities used by competitors.
  • Ad hoc tasks

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional copywriting experience, preferably in a corporate or agency setting.
  • A bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or any related field is preferred.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of writing samples and demonstrating proficiency in different writing styles and formats.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
  • Ability to write clear, concise, and engaging content tailored to different audiences and platforms.
  • Proficiency in using content management systems (CMS) and familiarity with digital marketing tools.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • A creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Schedule: West African Time: full time/part time (Availability between 02:30pm and 10:30pm)
