About the Role: We're on the hunt for a Freelance Social/Digital Art Director who can ideate and create platform-native content for both paid and organic channels. You'll help grow brands, educate followers, inspire, push boundaries, and connect with our online communities. This role requires nimbleness, so you'll need to quickly ideate, design, and/or shoot photos, videos, or layouts as needed. You'll collaborate closely with our Social, Digital, and Creative Teams to bring social projects to life.


What You'll Do:

  • Lead concepting and ideation to produce standout creative ideas.
  • Own the client brand look and feel on social channels.
  • Deliver top-tier content that aligns with social trends and business goals.
  • Assist in new business pitches.
  • Work collaboratively with Social, Digital, Creative, and Account Teams.
  • Identify and capitalize on trends quickly for timely content creation.
  • Experiment with emerging formats like AR filters, 3D design, or interactive experiences.
  • Collaborate with analytics and strategy teams to refine creative approaches.


What We're Looking For:

  • Proactive, highly creative, and well-versed in all social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn).
  • Skilled in graphic design, typography, basic editing, and motion graphics.
  • Bonus: Open to acting as a content creator for UGC-styled content.
  • Great problem-solver and flexible to adapt to the ever-evolving social media landscape.


Responsibilities:

  • Concept and ideate to produce great creative ideas.
  • Take ownership of client brand looks and feel on social channels.
  • Deliver creative and top-tier content that aligns with current social trends and client business goals.
  • Assist in new business pitches.
  • Work collaboratively with Social, Digital, Creative, and Account Teams.
  • Identify and capitalize on trends quickly for timely content creation.
  • Experiment with emerging formats like AR filters, 3D design, or interactive experiences.
  • Collaborate with analytics and strategy teams to refine creative approaches.


Qualifications:

  • Inclusive, courageous, discerning, curious, and devoted to the customer.
  • 4+ years of relevant agency experience with social media/digital creative experience (food and beverage experience is a plus).
  • A portfolio demonstrating an experimental mindset, embracing new creative technologies, media platforms, and trends.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and simplify complex situations.
  • Expert at using Mac OS, Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), SharePoint, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint (or Keynote), CapCut, and all Social Platforms (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn).
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Analytical skills to evaluate creative approaches and seek unexpected, original, and innovative ideas.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced and creative environment.
  • Positive attitude, genuine team player, self-starter, and go-getter attitude.
  • Strong project management and organization skills.
  • Comfortable working remotely.


Note: This freelance role offers the potential to transition into a full-time position if we find the perfect fit.
