Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Data Center Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of a data center relocation project in the APAC region. This role requires managing cross-functional teams, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring seamless infrastructure transitions while adhering to timelines, budgets, and organizational standards.
Responsibilities:
Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets for the data center relocation project.
Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
Oversee the implementation of APAC Net/iNet and related IT infrastructure.
Lead cross-functional teams, including IT, facilities, and application support, to ensure smooth relocation.
Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and adjust plans as needed.
Liaise with external vendors and contractors for procuring services and equipment.
Manage the setup of infrastructure components, including servers, networking, and storage.
Provide regular updates to management and stakeholders on project progress.
Prepare project schedules, define milestones, track progress, and remove blockers.
Requirements:
Proven experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects, including data center relocations.
Knowledge of IT infrastructure components such as servers, storage, switches, and firewalls.
Familiarity with regional IT vendors and telecom providers.
Effective communication skills for managing stakeholders at all levels.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management abilities.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of project management experience, including data center relocation projects.
Expertise in PMI methodology and ITIL disciplines.
Self-starter with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
