Role Description

This is a project-based fully remote role for a Senior iOS Developer.

We are looking for a talented front-end engineer with strong expertise in developing and scaling B2C mobile applications to help our consumer app division scale one of our most recent products to millions of users.

The Senior iOS Developer will be responsible for developing the mobile application frontend.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain mobile applications using the SwiftUI framework
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and backend developers to deliver high-quality mobile experiences
• Implement new features and functionalities, ensuring scalability and maintainability
• Optimise application performance for maximum speed and scalability
• Write clean, maintainable code, and participate in code reviews
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in mobile development

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in mobile application development
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Swift and the SwiftUI framework
• Solid understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and best practices
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party libraries
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

The candidate will also have the opportunity to join Blackboard Studio's core team after the completion of the initial project.
