Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled and experienced WordPress Developer to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate should have expertise in theme and plugin development, along with strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript. Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes and plugins.
- Optimize website performance, responsiveness, and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues efficiently.
- Work with APIs and third-party integrations for WordPress.
- Ensure websites are SEO-friendly and follow best coding practices.
- Collaborate with the team to implement new features and improvements.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest WordPress trends and technologies.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a WordPress Developer (Theme & Plugin Development).
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript.
- Experience with WordPress hooks, filters, custom post types, and taxonomies.
- Knowledge of MySQL database management.
- Understanding of website security, optimization, and performance tuning.
- Experience working with version control systems like Git.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Education: Bachelor's or Diploma Degree in Computer Science or a related field (CSE preferred).
- Expert in integrations, API development, and Webhooks.
Preferred Skills (Optional but a Plus!)
- Experience with WooCommerce development.
- Knowledge of React or Vue.js for WordPress-related projects.
- Familiarity with REST API and headless WordPress.
- Understanding of UI/UX best practices.
