Role

My client is seeking a Portfolio Performance Quant-Analyst to join the Group Finance team who can bring advanced analytics approaches to financial portfolio performance and reporting. Assist in idea generation of new advanced analytical initiatives and formalize a prioritized delivery roadmap for portfolio financial performance analytics and reporting. Ensure a strong discipline for model library development to enable scalability and re-usability of predictive models to other portfolio performance analytics business use cases.


Technical Skills/Responsibilities

  • 6+ years of applied data science advanced quantitative analytics delivering commercial impact.
  • Proficiency in Data Science toolsets including Python/R, Jupyter Notebooks required.
  • Multivariate stat-modelling including clustering, factor analysis, time-series Bayesian methods.
  • Machine learning techniques including Random Forest, KNN, SVM and regularization.
  • Proficiency in advanced analytics & M/L technologies like SnowPark, Pytorch.
  • Data modeling expertise and exposure to data modelling tools (e.g., Erwin).
  • Portfolio performance and reporting experience.
  • Strong business domain knowledge – including understanding of portfolio reporting.
  • Advanced Degree (e.g., computer science, statistics, mathematics, engineering).
  • Excellent communication skills – an ability to explain complex analytical concepts.
