The Director of Information Technology will lead our client's IT operations, driving strategic initiatives to align technology with business objectives and ensure scalability, security, and innovation. Reporting to the C-suite, this role combines technical expertise with leadership to architect a future-ready IT organization that meets the demands of a digital-first workforce. The Director will oversee IT infrastructure, business applications, and technical support services, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful technology solutions.
What You Will Contribute:
Strategic IT Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with organizational goals, ensuring scalability, security, and operational efficiency.
- Lead IT infrastructure enhancements, network management, and communications systems to support operations and strategic growth.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to evaluate IT initiatives' cost, value, and risk while driving innovative solutions.
Team Leadership and Development
- Build and mentor a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of innovation and operational excellence.
- Set clear departmental goals, manage project timelines, and align IT staffing with organizational growth and technological advancements.
Technology and Business Applications Management
- Oversee the lifecycle of business-critical applications (ERP, CRM, HRIS, etc.), ensuring optimization and process automation.
- Lead the implementation of cybersecurity protocols and risk management practices to protect data integrity and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Identify and integrate emerging technologies to enhance business operations and ensure IPO readiness.
- Implement data visualization, analytics, reporting, and dashboarding.
Vendor and Stakeholder Management
- Cultivate strategic relationships with technology vendors, negotiate contracts, and secure cost-effective services.
- Act as a key liaison between IT and executive leadership, effectively communicating strategies, roadmaps, and performance metrics.
Budget Oversight and Financial Management
- Manage an IT budget, optimizing resource allocation for maximum efficiency and ROI.
- Oversee IT financial activities, including managed service contracts and strategic procurements, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
What You Bring:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or IT. A master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years in complex IT and business environments, with 5+ years in leadership roles.
- Proven expertise in IT infrastructure, business applications, and technology systems integration in an organization.
- Demonstrated success in leading teams, managing large-scale projects, and fostering collaboration across departments.
