Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer in UNITED ARAB EMIRATES

This is a exciting opportunity for an experienced RoR developer to work in Dubai for one of the regions leading and most established ecommerce platforms. The successful candidates (multiple vacancies) will be required to relocate to Dubai (UAE) after completing probation within 3-6 months.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

• 7+ years development experience.
• Experience with Ruby/Ruby on Rails, Javascript, HTML, CSS.
• Architect and implement new features and improvements.
• Participate on designing long-lasting and resilient infrastructure that can operate at scale.
• Revise test architecture and recommend improvements.
• Mentor Junior developers towards making balanced decisions when it comes to abstraction, technical debt, rabbit holes, etc.
• Gradually take ownership over certain area or domain of the system.
