Data analyst and reporting specialist in UNITED KINGDOM

Working as part of the digital team, the data and reporting specialist executes data analysis and reporting for internal stakeholders and sometimes our customers.


You’ll work under the guidance of our digital lead and key stakeholders alongside our product managers, power platform developers, communications and marketing colleagues, creative design, and expert trainers to deliver the right outcome for our customers.


You may be required to work across multiple client projects at any given time, so you’ll enjoy variety and exposure to different industries.


You’ll be confident in analysing different quantitative and qualitative data types and be able to represent them in report formats such as Power BI or PowerPoint.


You’ll be responsible for:


  • Data Analysis: Utilize qualitative and quantitative data to conduct comprehensive analyses that drive business insights and strategies.
  • Programming Expertise: Employ Python for data manipulation, analysis, and automation of reporting processes.
  • Data Visualization: Create detailed and visually appealing reports and dashboards using Power BI and PowerPoint to communicate findings to stakeholders effectively.
  • PowerApps Data Structure: Assist in defining and structuring data within PowerApps to ensure streamlined and efficient data management and usage.
  • Business Support: Provide data-driven support to various business units, addressing their data needs and helping to solve complex problems with data insights.
  • GDPR Compliance: Champion GDPR compliance and ensure all data handling activities adhere to the necessary regulations.
  • Data Housekeeping: Implement and oversee data housekeeping activities to maintain data accuracy, consistency, and security.
  • Quality: Ensuring quality is at the heart of delivery and not be afraid to push back on timelines that may impact quality.
  • Continuous improvement: Identifying opportunities for continual improvement and innovation in our digital team



About you

Your attitude is as important as your experience, though to deliver well, we’re looking for someone who has:


  • Proven experience in data analysis, preferably in a business setting
  • Expertise in Power BI and PowerPoint for data visualization and reporting
  • Experience with PowerApps and understanding of data structuring within the platform
  • Good foundational knowledge of GDPR and data protection principles
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to data accuracy and integrity
  • Self-motivation and independence. This is a home-working position, you need to be happy in your own company and able to thrive in a virtual working environment
  • Good all-round people and organisational skills and able to work in a team
  • A positive and enthusiastic problem solver with a proactive nature
  • The ability to prioritise workload
  • The ability to comfortably engage with senior stakeholders and end users
  • Strong listening, writing and communication skills (whatever your preferred style or particular needs may be, for example if you’re neuro diverse)
