The Company
TymeX is the tech and operations arm of TymeGroup. Mostly based in Asia, we design and develop software for our business units. We have bank licenses in South Africa, The Philippines, Vietnam and are expanding fast in APAC.
The Team
This role will be part of the Design Team. Our 15-member team consists of UX/UI designers, motion designers, researchers, writers, and strategists. We collaborate through catch-ups, critiques, and design operations. Recently, we have won six prestigious design awards.

The Role
We are currently looking for a skilled and enthusiastic senior or lead UX writer who is a citizen of South Africa. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional UX writing skills, with experience in the fin tech industry being an added advantage. Critical thinking, a strategic mindset, and the ability to focus on the big picture rather than individual pages are vital skills that we seek in the candidate. The role requires to work on different time zones however we do not require to fully match odd hours. The working hour could be discussed. The applicant can be situated in South Africa or anywhere else. For those who are willing to move to HCMC Vietnam, a competitive relocation package is available.

Requirements
A true passion for UX content writing
3+ years' experience writing for digital products in the South African market
A background in UX/product writing, content design or digital copywriting and a portfolio of work to back it up
Demonstrable experience collaborating with different teams across countries and time zones
The ability to present and defend your UX writing decisions
Helping to forge a style and voice for the brand that makes our customers feel safe and understood
Ensure that all product messaging—from in-flow micro copy to notifications—is clear, accurate, useful, and true to the brand
Helping to ensure consistency in messaging across channels by teaming up with other sources of content in the organization such as POs, designers, and BOs
Reviewing data to understand customer behaviour and adapt messaging accordingly
Reviewing product messaging before it goes live
