Note: This is a contract-based position.

As we are expanding  our support team, we are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Technical Support Engineer to join us and help support our enterprise customers and open source community.


Role Overview:


Your responsibilities as a Technical Support Engineer will be:

  • Respond to customer requests via email, chat, forums, etc. with professionalism.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues for enterprise and public customers promptly and effectively
  • Contribute to the knowledge base, to improve self-service for customers and team efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other teams (engineering, customer success, solution engineering) to address complex issues and contribute to product improvement and customer satisfaction
  • Work independently in a fully remote environment, showing  ownership and accountability. 


The position expects participation in on-call rotations, including occasional weekend shifts, to provide 24/7 support coverage. Preferable time zone for this position is GMT +0 – GMT +3.


We run a  remote work model, and flexible working hours. This is a contract-based position.


Key Qualifications:


Experience: 3-4+ years as Tier 2/3 support engineer, ideally in the monitoring/observability area.


Technical Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of programming or scripting languages (experience with Go is an advantage).
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes (K8s) and Docker (advantage).
  • Basic knowledge of Linux (advanced knowledge is a plus).
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills.


Soft Skills:

  • Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
  • Passionate to work with customers.
  • Sense of responsibility and urgency.
  • Quick learner with a proactive attitude and a passion for solving problems.


Startup Mindset: Comfortable in evolving processes and the need for flexibility.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with VictoriaMetrics or other time-series databases.
  • Experience with open source technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring/observability tools such as Grafana/Prometheus.
  • Understanding of IT infrastructure and distributed systems troubleshooting.
