Senior .Net Azure Engineer (relocation to Belgium) in PORTUGAL

We are seeking talented .NET Azure Developer willing to relocate and join our Client’s team in Brussels, Belgium.

Our client is looking for 2 developers with strong .NET Azure skills to join their current team and contribute to building a specific set of features and applications for an exciting greenfield project. The ideal candidates should have a solid background in .NET development and experience in building cloud applications on Azure. These roles offer the opportunity to continue working on additional projects, including further development and evolution of existing applications, following positive initial performance reviews.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the existing team to design, develop, and deploy new cloud-based applications and features on Microsoft Azure.
• Work on a greenfield project, contributing to the development of new applications from scratch.
• Develop secure and scalable backend components using .NET technologies.
• Optionally provide front-end development support (if skilled in Vue.js or similar front-end frameworks).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with broader project objectives.
• Follow best practices for cloud application development and deployment.
• Provide input and guidance to ensure high-quality code and efficient solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Solid .NET background (minimum of medior level experience or higher required).
• Proven experience with building cloud applications using .NET Azure.
• Knowledge of cloud-specific concepts and technologies, such as PaaS resources, Azure Functions, API Management, etc.
• Full-stack experience (Vue.js, .NET, etc.) is an asset but not mandatory.
• Experience in working on greenfield projects is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment.
• Professional English proficiency is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for CI/CD pipelines in the Azure ecosystem.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Knowledge of best practices in cloud computing, such as scalability and application resilience.
