We are looking for a Middle-Senior Laravel Developer to join our team and help scale and optimize our subscription-based content platform. This is a fully remote position where you’ll be working on a mobile-first, social-media-like web application that integrates live-streaming, payment systems, and content feeds and more.
What You’ll Be Doing:- Develop & Optimize: Work with our product team, developing new features and fixing existing bugs, ensuring performance and reliability.
- Integrate & Scale: Work with payment gateways, real-time live-streaming, and content feed optimizations.
- Enhance the User Experience: Build a seamless, mobile-first web application, ensuring smooth navigation and functionality.
- Deploy & Maintain: Implement CI/CD pipelines and ensure AWS-based deployments run efficiently.
- Collaborate: Work closely with front-end developers (Vue.js), product teams, and DevOps to deliver high-quality features.
- Troubleshoot & Debug: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensuring smooth user interactions.
What We’re Looking For:- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Laravel and PHP development.
- Strong understanding of SQL databases and performance optimization.
- Experience in building and optimizing live-stream experiences and real-time content feeds.
- Mobile-first mindset: Ability to optimize applications for responsive and high-performance mobile usage.
- Familiarity with Vue.js (or willingness to work with it).
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency with Git and Agile development practices.
- Additionally, we are currently transitioning to a microservice architecture. Experience in effectively implementing microservices with Laravel is crucial for this role.
Bonus Points for:- Experience with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda) and CI/CD workflows.
- Experience integrating payment systems (Stripe, PayPal, etc.).
- Understanding of server-side caching and performance optimization.
- Previous work on high-traffic web applications.
