We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Insurance Advisor to provide comprehensive insurance services to both existing and new customers. This role requires excellent communication, sales, and organizational skills, alongside a deep understanding of insurance products and compliance with FCA regulations. The successful candidate will act with professionalism and integrity, ensuring customer needs are met with tailored insurance solutions.



Key Responsibilities
  • Identify potential sales opportunities from all incoming calls and inquiries.
  • Provide specialized sales advice tailored to meet customer requirements.
  • Analyze customer information and conduct research to make suitable insurance recommendations.
  • Deliver a high standard of customer care and service at all times, adhering to FCA principles and rules.
  • Actively contribute to achieving company sales targets and business objectives.
  • Complete all supporting documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain secure and compliant customer records in line with GDPR requirements.
  • Stay updated on FCA rules, company compliance policies, and insurance principles.
  • Persuade and influence customers to adopt suitable insurance products.
  • Respond appropriately to customer feedback and individual levels of understanding.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain professional competence by adhering to the company’s training and competence procedures.
  • Stay informed about market trends, compliance updates, and insurance products.
  • Undertake additional duties as directed by management.
  • Uphold the company’s standards of ethical behavior both inside and outside the workplace.


Requirements
  • Education: Educated to at least GCSE standard.
  • Experience: Proven knowledge of insurance products and the insurance market.
  • Experience providing specialized sales advice to support customer needs.
  • Alternatively, a willingness to undertake relevant customer service and insurance training.
  • Strong keyboard skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and internet/email use.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to match available products to customer requirements.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to handle, analyze, and summarize information responsibly.
  • Persuasive and influential with a customer-focused approach.
  • Familiarity with FCA rules and guidelines.
  • Understanding of GDPR and compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Awareness of ethical financial practices and industry standards.
  • Act with honesty, integrity, and professionalism at all times.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to customer satisfaction and ethical practices.
  • Ensure transactions are clear, straightforward, and compliant with regulations.
