The Opportunity

Our client are a data consultancy that provide data archiving solutions for their clients which include Twitter, Uber and Linkedin.

As a business - they monitor, preserve and analyse their clients sensitive data to ensure that important documents are securely stored that are not needed for the businesses day to day operations so realistically you would be working on the build of intricate security software which helps protect highly sensitive information.. very cool.

• The organisation are still technically in start-up phase, despite having 50/60 people, so there is a lot of opportunities for growth
• The company is very much engineering led with a talented team of software engineers making up a 1/3 of their workforce. They have come from strong commercial backgrounds from the likes of Google Etc
• Fully remote

The What?

They are looking for a Python Developer to help work on their sophisticated data platforms.

• ‘End-to-end’ experience in the SDLC, from product design to release and post-production
• Contact with the deployment process and experimented with automated process for testing and deployment and cloud services
• Experience working with distributed systems, dealing with large volumes of data and hard problems: concurrency, scaling
• Strong experience working with technology such as Django, Kubernetes, DevOps technology and ideally any other OOP languages such as Java or C#).

The ideal candidate:

• Enjoys the “start-up” culture, be willing to get involved and share knowledge with your peers
• Is a curious person that likes to understand the whole stack and architecture of software, even if you are only working directly with a small part of it.
• Has experience working with AWS cloud.
