Overview:
At Qulture, the Social Strategist, reporting to the Head of Strategy, plays a pivotal role helping uncover meaningful insights for our data-driven creative & strategy, optimizing campaign performance and driving our clients’ success across various digital and social platforms. The ideal candidate is a sharp social user and has 3 to 5 years of experience in analyzing digital and social media data, has a passion and ability to tell a story with data, a strong ability to interpret complex data sets, and knows how to craft a strong social strategy for global brands.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis & Reporting:
· Collect, process, and analyze large data sets from various digital and social media platforms (e.g., Sprinklyr, Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, TikTok Analytics, etc.).
· Develop and maintain dashboards and regular reports that track key performance indicators (KPIs) across digital and social media campaigns and brand handles.
· Identify trends, patterns, and insights from data that inform strategy and decision-making for ongoing and future campaigns.
· Craft compelling data-driven stories from complex data sets in a clear, understandable way to influence key stakeholders’ strategic decisions across marketing and business decisions.
Campaign Performance Optimization:
· Effectively use 3rd and 1st party tools to monitor digital and social media campaigns/content.
· Provide data-driven recommendations for improving targeting, messaging, posting cadence, and overall social content and campaign effectiveness.
· Conduct A/B testing and multivariate testing to evaluate and optimize campaign elements.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams and agency partners to implement data-driven solutions that support business goals.
Client Reporting & Communication:
· Prepare and present detailed reports and insights to clients, demonstrating the value of campaigns and recommending data-driven strategies.
· Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for clients and internal teams.
· Participate in client meetings to discuss performance metrics, methodology and insights.
Strategy:
· Develop, implement and manage social media strategies for clients across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube.
· Collaborate with the creative and social team on ideation for social content
· Develop Social playbooks based on data, insights and platform best practices
· Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices, tools and trends to help keep yourself and internal teams abreast of the latest platform innovations and opportunities worth presenting to the client
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience & Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience within digital or social media advertising.
• Experience and interest in fashion, luxury, beauty and/or liquor/spirits categories, a plus
• Expert in best practices for social marketing and proactively keeps up with trends and important changes.
Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Google Analytics, Excel, RivalIQ, Sprinklr, Talkwalker, and data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong understanding of social media analytics platforms (e.g., Facebook Insights, TikTok Analytics, LinkedIn Analytics).
• Experience with A/B testing and statistical analysis methodologies.
Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail to be able to scrub data sets and provide quality reporting.
• Ability to interpret and translate data into actionable insights and strategies.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Communication & Collaboration:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
• Experience presenting to and interacting with clients in a professional setting.
• Able to work across a number of projects, appropriately prioritizing and balancing workload to meet deadlines
This is a 100% remote position with typical business hours from 9:30AM to 6PM EST, preferably within the New York area.
Rate: Commensurate based on experience & competitive within the salary range for this job based on your location
