We are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to join our client on an initial 3-6 month contract.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions using Terraform to manage Azure resources efficiently.

This role requires collaboration with development teams, managing CI/CD pipelines, ensuring security and compliance, and optimizing cloud costs.

Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Implementation - Develop and maintain Terraform scripts and modules to provision infrastructure.
• Azure Infrastructure Provisioning - Deploy and manage Azure resources while optimizing costs and ensuring policy compliance.
• CI/CD Pipeline Implementation - Build and automate CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Terraform.
• Collaboration and Version Control - Work with development teams and manage Terraform code using GitOps principles.
• Monitoring and Maintenance - Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for infrastructure performance.
• Security and Compliance - Ensure security best practices and compliance automation using Terraform.
• Documentation and Knowledge Sharing - Maintain documentation and provide training on infrastructure processes.
• Troubleshooting and Support - Diagnose and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues.
• Continuous Improvement and Innovation - Evaluate and implement new tools and optimizations for better performance and cost-efficiency.

Required Experience:

• Strong experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (pipelines, repositories, work items, test plans).
• Proficiency with Git and source control best practices.
• Knowledge of Azure services (VMs, networking, databases, load balancers, etc.).
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline implementation and management.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent documentation and communication abilities.

Desirable Experience:

• Experience with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
• Familiarity with compliance standards like GDPR, HIPAA.
• Certification in Azure DevOps or Azure Administrator Associate.
