Role Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced
Shopify Expert to join our team. This is a remote, part-time position where you will work with a variety of clients to design, develop, and optimize Shopify stores that deliver exceptional user experiences and drive sales.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Shopify’s ecosystem, including theme customization, app integrations, and performance optimization. You will collaborate closely with our design, content, and marketing teams to create eCommerce solutions that align with client goals and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Shopify stores, ensuring they are visually appealing, functional, and optimized for performance.
- Customize Shopify themes to meet client-specific requirements, ensuring seamless integration of design and functionality.
- Implement third-party apps and custom integrations to enhance store features and capabilities.
- Optimize Shopify stores for speed, performance, and mobile responsiveness.
- Collaborate with designers to translate mockups into pixel-perfect Shopify themes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Shopify stores, including payment gateways, checkout processes, and app integrations.
- Stay up to date with the latest Shopify trends, tools, and best practices.
Key Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Shopify development with a strong portfolio of custom Shopify stores.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Liquid (Shopify’s templating language).
- Experience with Shopify theme customization and app integrations.
- Strong understanding of eCommerce best practices, including SEO, performance optimization, and conversion rate optimization.
- Familiarity with Shopify Plus and headless Shopify setups is a plus.
- Experience with version control systems like Git is a bonus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.
