Corryong Health is a fully accredited small rural health service located in the far north-eastern corner of Victoria, around 120 kilometers east of Wodonga. Corryong Health provides a range of services including urgent care, acute, residential aged care and home and community-based services.

The Project Manager is a key role reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) performing program management, data management, data analysis and reporting functions. The role will also include liaison, coordination and organizational tasks in support of the CEO; Executive and Board of Corryong Health.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing logistical aspects of CH Program Management Function
  • Supporting internal teams to set up and manage projects
  • Overseeing and tracking all projects against targets and deliverable
  • Overseeing data management and reporting functions that enable operational and Board reporting
  • Ensure matters relating meeting with external stakeholders are managed the week prior to the meeting.
  • Liaising with other staff on matters relating to the organization's operations and reporting
  • Researching and preparing reports, briefing notes, memoranda, correspondence, external communications and other routine documents
  • Attending meetings and acting as secretariat as required

This is a 0.8 FTE position.

To Be Successful In The Role, You Must Have

  • Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident, or have a relevant visa allowing you to live and work in Australia with no restrictions. Corryong Health does not undertake visa sponsorship for this role.
  • Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) Certificate III or equivalent experience/ qualifications including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3)
  • Highly proficient in MS Word, Excel and Power point,
  • Skilled in data analytics
  • Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team environment, adaptable to change and committed to quality improvement, able to explore new ways of working in line with developments in technology, service delivery and funding requirements
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills which promote service and client interests
  • Demonstrated experience in prioritizing workloads whilst meeting deadlines within a high workload environment.
  • Excellent computing and IT skills, including high level accuracy and minimum of 40wpm typing speed.
  • Willingness to undertake annual vaccinations, drug and alcohol testing, fit testing and employment checks as required by Victorian law and Department of Health guidelines,
  • Demonstrate a commitment to the (Victorian Public Sector) VPSC Code of Conduct, Equal Employment Opportunity, Work Health & Safety and Cultural Diversity principles.
