Role: Automation Tester
Location: Louisville, KY (Permanent remote)
Duration: 10+ Months
Note: The Client is looking for a hands on automation tester who can lead/manage a team of offshore testers as well. It would require flexibility to be available during EST night hours which can be compensated from day hours.
The Automation Tester isolates, reproduces, and tracks defects and verifies fixes. Develops test data and procedures for ensuring the software products meet organization standards and end-user requirements. Very familiar with the software development cycle and quality assurance methodologies. Decisions are typically focus on methods, tactics and processes for completing administrative tasks/projects. Regularly exercises discretion and judgment in prioritizing requests and interpreting and adapting procedures, processes and techniques, and works under limited guidance due to previous experience/breadth and depth of knowledge of administrative processes and organizational knowledge.
Must Have:
• 5+ year hands-on experience with developing test case automation using Selenium, C#, and Playwright
• Strong knowledge of Postman and how to utilize it to validate API capabilities
• Strong history of system quality improvement
• Have experience managing accountability of leading an offshore team including shift rotation planning
• This role would occasionally require flexibility to be available during EST night hours which can be compensated from day hours
Nice to Have:
• Working understanding of Splunk and how to analyze/troubleshoot Splunk log files.
• Basic understanding of ForgeRock, FR trees, how errors get logged, how to identify them.
