Position : POWER BI BUSINESS ANALYST

Work Hours : Monday to Friday, overlap of 4 hours for client meetings

Timezone : EST

Holidays : May follow the holidays observed in the candidate's home country

Pay Range : USD 1,500 - 1,800 per month ​(The final offer is at the client's discretion and will be based on the candidate's skills and years of experience.)

Company/Client Overview: Power BI consulting firm for financial clients

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Meeting with clients to collect and define requirements for financial reporting and planning solutions
• Building aesthetically appealing, accurate, effective financial reporting and planning solutions using Power BI (and the Microsoft Power Platform)
• Build data modeling solutions (in Power BI, Power Query, SQL) to solve client business reporting and planning needs
• QA Testing, analyzing, and troubleshooting Power BI solutions throughout the project lifecycle
• Demonstrating solutions to clients, incorporating feedback from clients, answering client questions, and guiding the client throughout the project lifecycle
• Reconciling data with source databases to ensure accuracy; reconciling calculations and measures
• Troubleshooting and managing issues with dashboards and similar tools; providing ongoing support for solutions we provide our customers

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 4 to 6 years of relevant experience
• Proficient in Power BI, DAX, SQL, and Data Modeling.
• Strong understanding of how businesses analyze cash flow, income statements, and balance sheets.
• Familiarity with financial reporting and its alignment with business objectives.
