Application Security Engineer in POLAND

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Application Security Engineer to join our dynamic team in project for one of our clients - global automotive company


Requirements:


  • 3+ years of experience in application security or a related field
  • Proficiency in security assessment tools and scanners (e.g., BlackDuck, Nexus IQ, OWASP ZAP, Fortify, Sonarqube).
  • In-depth knowledge of secure coding practices and security standards (e.g., OWASP, NIST).
  • Experience with programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, .NET) and scripting.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines).
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, OSCP, or GWAPT are highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Work with development teams to integrate security into the software lifecycle, ensuring effective use of secure coding practices and tools
  • Conduct security assessments, including code analysis and vulnerability scanning, to identify and remediate issues in web and mobile apps.
  • Collaborate with architects and engineers to teach secure design, threat modeling, and best practices.
  • Support teams during security incidents, including analysis, containment, and remediation.
  • Deliver security training to development teams, promoting a security-first culture.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and regulations throughout the development lifecycle.
