POSITION SUMMARY
NetX is looking for an eager QA Automation Engineer to join their growing team! This role is crucial to the development process, ensuring software runs smoothly and meets client needs while remaining cost-effective. The ideal candidate will be eager to immerse themselves in the design and execution processes to catch issues before product launches, helping to deliver high-quality, and reliable solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical designs to provide clear, constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with the QA Lead to design, develop, and execute automation scripts aligned with user stories.
- Implement automated regression resting to ensure stability and prevent recurring issues.
- Develop and enhance test coverage for both new and existing product features
- Partner with developers and test managers to define system requirements and ensure comprehensive test strategies.
- Continuously explore new tools and methodologies to improve test automation efficiency.
- Maintain thorough, up-to-date documentation of testing processes, finding, and best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- At least 2 years of experience as a QA Engineer with a strong foundation in software testing principles and prior hands-on experience with Playwright or similar software testing tools, such as Cypress and/or Selenium.
- Proficiency in CLI automation, Docker, and SQL, with strong scripting skills for automation and testing.
- Expertise in API Performance testing to ensure reliability and efficiency.
- Proven ability to take full ownership of services under test, ensuring quality and stability.
- Deep understanding of product development lifecycles and a disciplined approach to testing.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently. Adaptability to evolving project requirements and fast-paced development cycles.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams, supporting developers, product managers, and QA engineers.
