Quality Assurance Engineer

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Quality Assurance Engineer at OUTMATIC psa. The Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for test execution, manual testing, creating test cases, and software testing on a day-to-day basis, defect tracking, and bug analysis. It's a fully remote position.

Qualifications

• Test Execution, Manual Testing, and Software Testing skills
• Minimum a 3-year experience in the software tester role in an agile team
• Ability to write test cases and test plans
• Good working knowledge of SQL, XML, and HTTP
• Basic knowledge of MongoDB and Linux
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attitude
• Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and tools
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Fluency in English, both verbal and written communication
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to collaborate in a team working in a fast paced environment
• Experience with automation testing tools is a plus
• Functional programming skills (Scala) is a plus
• Good working knowledge of OOP paradigm and development skills in Java or C# is a plus
• Working knowledge of the Italian language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaboration with functional analysts to identify and write acceptance criteria for user stories
• Execution of acceptance and regression tests
• Collaboration with other teams during integration tests
• Root cause analysis to find out permanent solutions
• Definition and monitoring of KPIs to ensure compliance with SLA (Service Level Agreement)
• Defect life cycle management with Jira
• Constant anomaly monitoring
• Collaboration with the development team for the entire phase of the bug fixing process.
