Your future contribution
We are looking for a PHP Software Engineer to join our team focused on building and maintaining a robust internal API, the backbone of our platform that empowers other teams to create and deliver innovative features. In this role, you will take on a dynamic mix of technical challenges while collaborating with product managers and engineering leads. You'll have the opportunity to contribute directly to the scalability and performance of our systems, while continuously growing your skills. Supported by a team of dedicated and driven professionals, you’ll play a key role in shaping the long-term success of our platform.
How You’ll Add Value
- Design, develop, and enhance API functionality to support new product initiatives and evolving business needs.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify requirements, plan milestones, and measure feature performance against technical and business metrics.
- Address integration needs with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless API performance and reliability.
- Improve API scalability, performance, and developer experience through thoughtful technical enhancements.
- Contribute to the full software lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing and deployment.
- Ensure features are well-tested, maintainable, and aligned with established standards.
- Solve complex technical design issues while maintaining a healthy, scalable codebase.
- Help establish and refine technical and architectural standards with the team.
- Diagnose and resolve bugs, ensuring high system reliability and performance.
- Proactively suggest and implement workflow and process improvements to enhance team efficiency.
- Engage in team discussions, code reviews, and knowledge sharing to foster collaboration and learning.
You’ll be successful in this role if you
- Have relevant professional experience in backend software development.
- Are proficient in recent PHP and Symfony versions.
- Have experience building scalable systems.
- Possess solid knowledge of relational databases.
- Follow Clean Coding practices and apply SOLID principles effectively in your work.
- Have experience decomposing monolithic architectures.
- Are eager to learn new technologies and adapt quickly to ever-changing situations.
- Demonstrate effective communication skills and collaborate well within a team.
- Have professional working proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
We Consider The Following Experience As An Advantage
- Familiarity with layered architecture and CQRS patterns
- Understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles
- Experience with Test-Driven Design (TDD) principles and practices
- Knowledge of Docker and containerization
