Role Description:

As a Senior iOS Developer at Openwave Computing, you will design, development, and maintenance of high-quality iOS applications. Leveraging your extensive experience and expertise, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive the successful delivery of mobile projects. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our clients mobile initiatives and contribute to the growth of our clients teams.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of iOS applications using Swift and UIKit or SwiftUI.
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to define technical requirements and user stories.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance and support to ensure high-quality code and best practices.
• Conduct thorough code reviews, testing, and debugging to maintain code integrity and optimize performance.
• Integrate with backend services and APIs to deliver seamless user experiences and ensure data consistency.
• Stay abreast of the latest iOS development trends, tools, and technologies, and champion their adoption within the team.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in the mobile development process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as an iOS Developer, with a strong focus on Swift and UIKit or SwiftUI.
• Extensive knowledge of object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and architectural patterns.
• Expertise in building complex, scalable iOS applications with a deep understanding of iOS SDK frameworks and APIs.
• Proficiency in using version control systems (e.g., Git) and familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and a track record of mentoring and coaching junior developers.

Salary Range:

$65,000 - $90,000 USD per annum (commensurate with experience)
