Location: Fully remote (UK-based)

Working Hours: Standard business hours

Contract Type: Initial 12m fixed term contract


We are delighted to be partnering with a forward-thinking organisation in their search for a Data Operations Analyst. This long-term opportunity is perfect for a meticulous and analytical professional who thrives in the world of data operations and quality assurance.


The Role

As a Data Operations Analyst, you will take on a key role in ensuring the seamless operation and integrity of the organisation’s data processes. Your responsibilities will include;


  • Overseeing daily data operations, ensuring that data loads and integration processes run smoothly.
  • Monitoring and analysing data pipelines, identifying and resolving errors or inconsistencies.
  • Crafting and optimising SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyse datasets effectively.
  • Ensuring data accuracy and quality, investigating missing or incomplete information and taking corrective action.
  • Responding to data-related queries and performing manual extracts to support stakeholders with their data needs.
  • Resolving issues via a ticketing system, ensuring timely and efficient problem-solving.
  • Managing external SharePoint sites, overseeing secure access to data files for third-party users.
  • Supporting manual reporting processes, utilising SQL and Excel to deliver key insights.


Ideal Candidate Profile

Whilst comprehensive training will be provided on bespoke systems, familiarity with the following is highly desirable;


  • Power BI: Experience with reporting and implementing row-level security.
  • Azure Environment: Knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Synapse, and managing security groups.
  • A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to maintaining data quality.
