We are currently seeking a Mobile Software Engineer for a three-month contract position, working remotely. This role involves contributing to the development and enhancement of our ZHERP mobile interface, focusing on creating impactful solutions for the healthcare industry.
About the Role
As a Mobile Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in building mobile applications that integrate seamlessly with ZHERP’s robust backend and Azure cloud infrastructure. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team to deliver high-quality features that enhance user experience and operational workflows for senior living facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize mobile applications for ZHERP using React Native.
- Implement new features and integrate them with backend services such as Azure FHIR and Django APIs.
- Ensure high-quality software through robust unit and integration testing.
- Work closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver cohesive solutions.
- Participate in Agile development practices, including code reviews, sprints, and daily stand-ups.
- Optimize mobile applications for performance, ensuring a seamless user experience.
QualificationsRequired Skills:
- Proficiency in React Native and mobile application design patterns.
- Experience with CI/CD workflows and automated testing for mobile apps.
- Strong understanding of API integrations, including RESTful and GraphQL.
- Familiarity with tools like React Native CLI, Xcode, Android Studio, and Azure services.
- Solid computer science foundation, including algorithms and data structures.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with healthcare technology solutions or compliance requirements such as FHIR, HIPAA, or PIPEDA.
- Familiarity with native mobile development languages like Kotlin and Swift.
- Knowledge of cloud-based infrastructures, particularly Azure services like Azure PostgreSQL and Azure Health Data Service.
- Awareness of UX/UI principles, especially in the context of healthcare applications.
