Position Overview
We’re looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer to join our team and help us craft beautiful, user-friendly digital experiences. In this role, you’ll collaborate with a talented group of professionals to take projects from brainstorming and design all the way to deployment. The position is fully remote, and we’ll provide you with the Hubstaff Desktop tool to track your work hours and ensure smooth collaboration.
Work Schedule:
- CST hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST
- One-hour break
- Six days a week, with one day off
- Includes a “60-minute cooldown” during the last hour of each day
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to conceptualize and design intuitive, user-centered solutions for digital products.
- Create and deliver end-to-end UX/UI designs, from ideation and user research to prototyping, developer handoff, and QA testing.
- Conduct user research, build user journeys, and create wireframes and prototypes to solve complex problems effectively.
- Develop high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes using tools like Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Facilitate the design process from brainstorming to implementation, ensuring alignment with user needs and business goals.
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and delivery.
- Participate in QA testing to ensure the final product meets design specifications and functions as intended.
- Ensure all work adheres to best practices for UX design, usability, and accessibility.
Requirements
- Proficiency in English: Reading, writing, speaking, and understanding are essential.
- Expertise in Figma, including prototyping and collaboration tools.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, etc.).
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge of the UX process, including user research, user flows, wireframing, prototyping, and testing.
- Experience in taking UI/UX projects from concept to deployment, including brainstorming, user journeys, handoff to developers, and QA testing.
- Strong understanding of project management tools like Trello, Asana, or Jira.
- Must use the Hubstaff desktop tool during all working hours.
- All work must be completed on DG Bangla’s video conference platform (camera optional, but a microphone required).
Preferred Skills
- Strong problem-solving skills with a passion for UX-focused design over UI.
- Experience working on UX products for real-world applications, such as SaaS platforms, e-commerce, or mobile apps.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and usability principles.
- Familiarity with Agile development practices and cross-functional team collaboration.
- Experience facilitating user testing and incorporating feedback into designs.
Trial Period
- Three-month trial period: Starting pay of 15,000 BDT per month.
- Upon successful completion, salary increases to 36,000 BDT per month, with opportunities for further growth based on performance and contributions.
- If performance expectations are not met, the relationship may continue on a freelance, project-by-project basis.
