About The Role
We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Senior Full-Stack Developers to join our network and work on challenging projects with our client companies. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of the entire web development stack, from front-end interfaces to back-end systems and databases, along with exposure to DevOps practices and cloud technologies. You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining high-quality, scalable, and maintainable web applications. You should be a problem-solver, a team player, and a passionate advocate for clean, efficient code. This is a remote position, requiring availability during US time zones.
Responsibilities
- Design and Development:
- Design, develop, and implement complex web applications using a variety of modern front-end and back-end technologies.
- Write clean, well-documented, testable, and efficient code adhering to industry best practices.
- Build reusable components and libraries for future use.
- Develop and maintain both client-side and server-side application logic.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs (and/or GraphQL) for seamless data exchange.
- Develop and maintain database schemas, ensuring data integrity and performance.
- Testing and Quality Assurance:
- Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality and application stability.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Debug and resolve complex technical issues.
- DevOps and Cloud:
- Deploy and maintain applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar).
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployment.
- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues as needed.
- Contribute to infrastructure management and automation using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate effectively with other developers, designers, product managers, and stakeholders in a remote environment.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Actively participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives).
Qualifications
- Experience:
- Minimum 5+ years of professional experience as a Full-Stack Developer.
- Proven track record of building and deploying complex, scalable web applications.
- Technical Skills:
- Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) or other relevant scripting language.
- Strong Experience with at least one major Front-end Framework: React, Angular, Vue.js, or similar.
- Strong Experience with at least one major Back-end Framework: Node.js (Express.js), Python (Django/Flask), Ruby on Rails, Java (Spring), .NET, or similar.
- Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) and/or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis).
- Proficient in designing and consuming RESTful APIs (GraphQL experience is a plus).
- Experience with Git for version control.
- Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Jasmine, RSpec, PyTest, etc.).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar).
- Understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Bonus Points:
- Experience with TypeScript or other statically typed languages.
- Contributions to open-source projects.
- Experience with serverless architectures.
